Kathryn (Kat) Lee is a legal practitioner at Healey Civil Law. She grew up in Malaysia and came to Australia in 2016 to attend ANU where she studied her Bachelor of Law (Hons) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (ANU). She has a strong understanding of the Commonwealth and Australian Capital Territory Workers’ Compensation scheme, and is able to guide injured employees through this difficult process with an empathetic and compassionate stance. She is a strong and passionate advocator for mental health which shows in her work in liaising with Comcare/EML and appearing in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal to get the best outcome for her clients. Kathryn Lee is also passionate in Human Rights and Discrimination matters. This interest comes from her time as an advocate for international students in the ANU Students’ Association, her internship at Canberra Community Law’s Disability Discrimination Law as well as lived experience. She is kind, compassionate and softly spoken (until you get to know her or until you need an advocate in your corner).
